The activity is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments, and has received wide attention and strong support from local authorities, relevant associations, alliances, universities and enterprises since the application notice was issued in October 2020. The working group has advanced the activity in an orderly manner in spite of the epidemic. The notice was officially released in June 2021, and an information session on this activity was held in Beijing in July. In September, an expert counseling meeting was organized in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. From November to December, the evaluation, testing and selection of robotic solutions were completed. After scientific preparation and implementation, 48 solutions, 6 units and 18 organizers were finally selected, which were officially released at the concluding event in Chengdu on December 27, 2021.
